How to Launch a Thriving Online Store
These days, owning your own retail shop is easier than ever. In fact, you can launch an online store that sells products over the internet, then operate a successful business by shipping items to customers and collecting payments electronically. Here are some tips from RMDCommerce to help you get started!
Founding Your Business
To get started as an online retailer, register your business and select the appropriate structure for your company. You’ll also want to set up an online platform as soon as possible. While many online retailers use off-the-shelf software to start their shops, some choose bespoke e-commerce solutions. Commercial off-the-shelf programs tend to be more accessible and user-friendly. In addition, using a premade option can be more affordable, especially in terms of initial costs. On the other hand, a custom online store can be tailored to your company's unique needs. Furthermore, bespoke software is typically more adaptable and can help you stand out from the competition.
Packaging and Shipping Orders
How you choose to package and ship your products is important whet building your online store's brand. Studies show that 81% of consumers reported that their purchasing decisions were influenced by packaging. Using recycled and eco-friendly materials like recycled cardboard can be an affordable way to show your company's values. Most importantly, your packaging should protect your merchandise while being user-friendly. When mailing packages, familiarise yourself with the various shipping options in your area. Then, you can compare different shipping rates based on the box size and the delivery timeframe.
Hiring Freelance Marketers
When you run a small business, working with freelancers can help you take on crucial tasks outside your capabilities. For example, you can expand your marketing resources by selecting a consultant to help you develop a strategy to promote your company and reach your target audience. A marketing professional can help you use social media and the web in addition to more traditional forms of advertising. Also, you can gain perspective on how your company and product appear to consumers. Use online job platforms to compare rates, skills, and experience. You can even read reviews to help you hire a remote freelance marketer.
Navigating Business Challenges
Running an online shop comes with many opportunities and challenges. First, bonding with your customers can be more difficult over the internet. Find ways to add a personalised touch to your communications with your shoppers. In addition, you should prioritize cybersecurity and user privacy. This builds customer trust and loyalty. Manage access to key systems carefully and avoid connecting your devices to public wireless internet networks, particularly to use your work-related accounts. Finally, develop standard processes for product sales, returns, and refunds. This can help streamline daily operations while improving the quality of the customer experience.
If you are interested in entrepreneurship, you should consider opening an online shop. There are many tools and resources, including freelance marketing professionals, that can help you get started selling products online and building a thriving business.

How Arts Can Help Children With Learning Disabilities Children with learning disabilities often benefit from artistic pursuits. Art can empower these children in various ways, ranging from boosting self-esteem to developing fine motor skills. Different types of art can be used to help, too. Learn about them here, along with their benefits and how you, as a parent, can contribute.
Benefits of Art for Children With Learning Disabilities It can be difficult for children with learning disabilities to find ways to express themselves. They may feel frustrated or misunderstood and often have trouble communicating their thoughts and emotions. However, art can provide a powerful outlet for self-expression. Creating art can help children express themselves in a way they may be unable to do with words. It can also help them develop fine motor skills, improve problem-solving abilities, and boost self-confidence.
As a result, the benefits of art extend far beyond the classroom. So if you have a child with a learning disability, encourage them to explore their creativity and let their imagination run wild.
Types of Art That Can Help Many types of art can be beneficial for children with disabilities. A few examples include:
How to Encourage Your Child to Get Involved Encourage your child to engage in arts by finding programs and opportunities geared toward their interests and abilities. Many organizations offer art programs for children with disabilities. Being supportive and positive throughout your child's journey in the arts is crucial.
Consider updating your home to include a multipurpose room for crafting and performing arts that can maximize access for your children. Save receipts and track all updates made to your home. This information will be helpful if you sell your home in the future, as you can report all updates to your appraiser to secure a higher appraisal value.
You may discover a passion for teaching beyond the home while sharing the benefits of arts and crafts with your children. Take it a step further by teaching lessons yourself. When starting a new teaching business, you may want to consider registering it as an LLC. This business structure provides many advantages, including limited personal liability, tax benefits, less paperwork for your operation, and flexibility regarding the type of services offered. Using a formation service or filing the paperwork yourself saves on costly lawyer fees, but first check your state's regulations surrounding setting up an LLC, as they're not all the same.
A Powerful Tool
Art can be a powerful tool for children with learning disabilities. As a parent, you can use art to help your children express themselves, develop fine motor skills, and boost self-confidence — and your passion for teaching could lead to a successful, rewarding business venture. How to Make the Digital Nomad Life Work When You Have a Pet You have the urge to travel, see new places, and a variety of experiences — so you've decided to hit the road as a digital nomad, and you're taking your pet with you. As simple as it might sound, this actually requires careful planning and preparation. It’s one thing to be a digital nomad, but it’s another thing to bring your four-legged sidekick with you. To help, RMDCommerce invites you to read on for some ideas about how to enjoy life as a digital nomad pet owner.
Find the Right Job Your first step on your journey as a digital nomad is to find a job that allows you to work remotely and support yourself. Start with your talents and interests. If you're an excellent web designer, you can turn this into a full-time career. If you write or edit, pull together a collection of freelance jobs and clients to stay busy.
You could become a photographer, tutor, bookkeeper, or virtual assistant, or combine several activities into a custom job just right for you. Keep in touch with your clients by email, though, and answer all communication promptly and thoroughly.
Consider an LLC
If you choose to freelance, you’ll essentially become your own boss. And with this choice, you’ll want to protect yourself and your business. Many freelancers choose to operate as sole proprietorships. This structure is simple and easy to set up, and requires less paperwork than other business structures. However, there are a few reasons why freelancers might want to consider an LLC instead.
First, LLCs provide personal liability protection. This means if your business is sued, your personal assets won’t be at risk. In addition, LLCs can help you to preserve your personal credit rating. When you form an LLC, your business debts and obligations are separate from your personal finances. Fortunately, an LLC is easy to register for when you use an online service that specializes in business formation.
Save Money Of course, you may not make as much as you would in a regular job, at least at first, so you'll need to find ways to save money. You might save on travel by using discount apps and public transportation, and you can cut food expenses by cooking for yourself rather than eating out. Spend time in libraries where you can use the internet for free as well.
Rent Smart You'll also need to make sure you're renting places you can afford and that are pet-friendly. As you look for accommodations in each new city, pay special attention to pet policies and fees. Since you're bringing your pet with you, you'll need to make sure every place you stay is safe for an animal.
Look for house-sitting positions as well as standard rentals, and be mindful of added utility costs. If you plan to work from your accommodation, check internet access strength and wireless availability so that you don't end up with unpleasant surprises and frustrations.
Keep Your Pet Healthy and Safe
As you travel and work, always remain focused on the health and safety of your pet. Before you leave, have your pet checked by your home vet, then reach out to vets in other cities for regular checkups. Keep up with flea and tick prevention schedules, shots, and medications as well.
Get your pet used to traveling by providing a comfortable carrier or restraint, whether it’s a harness, a backpack or a soft crate. Make sure you invest in durable, top-rated items that will stand the test of time with your travels. The best resource for this info is through sites that offer reviews straight from veterinarians.
Be a Digital Nomad If the nomadic work life is calling to you but you can’t stand to leave your pet behind, there are ways to make this work for both you and your fur baby. Carefully find the right job and ideal business structure. Be smart about where you stay, and always keep your pet’s health top of mind. With a careful approach, you can enjoy an adventurous lifestyle with your four-legged bestie right by your side.

As an the owner of an e-commerce enterprise I often get asked about my thought process when it comes to website creation and development. So in the following series of articles I will try and outline some of that process.
In this particular article I delve into some of the things I looked at when deciding to set up a website
Depending on how you want to develop your business business model,
it may be worth spending some time looking at what sort of web site would
work best for your enterprise.
Firstly where to have the site hosted? There are many hosting platforms
across the web. Companies like Go-daddy and Weebly amongst others which offer a wide range of options for the building your web presence. These will vary in price and application.
They all offer pre-built templates which can be adapted to suit individual needs. Also catered for are the hard core people who like to build their own sites from the ground up. Each hosting platform has a unique set of tools which enables you to easily create your brand look and to populate your pages with content.
When setting up my series of sites, the requirement was for ease of use in adapting an existing template and the ability to quickly update and change content. To do this I set up a series of free accounts on a of number platforms. Created a dummy site with a few pages and tested for the conditions which were important to me. Thus I chose and continue to use my current hosting platform.
A some what novel question, but one which gives an insight into the goals of getting a website in the first place.
What is your website intended to accomplish. There are many people who pay for a website package who have only a vague idea of how to use it. Before even going to the point of
looking for hosting platforms. Decide what you want it to do.
Is your business going to be an online market for your goods and services, is it to be simply an information site. Will it be used to promote yourself as an individual. Will it be used to express your views on topics of interest. The list is quite simply endless. The development and running costs will
depend very much on what your website is going to deliver.
For me initially the websites were primarily information based, as such outlay in set up and maintenance costs is relatively small.
However if the aim is to create a full blown e-commerce online shop site. The set up and upkeep costs will be significantly different. There are some hosting platforms that specialise in specific areas of application. Sites such as Shopify being a good example. So, decide what your site is going to do, then find the best platform for your requirements.
Start up costs: These are a valid question, and are an important part of the decision making process when looking at your website options. All hosting platforms have a wide array of packages. Which offer different options in price, application, support and other benefits. Prices will also be influenced by the way the website is to be used.
Once again look very carefully at what the hosting site is offering and the price you have to pay for receiving that service.
Domain names: These are simply the name of your web site.
As time moves forward the availability of unique domain names is becoming less as more people emigrate their business to include an internet presence. Domain names work in the following manner.
This is a fictitious company and is used to illustrate how a domain name works. The name is prefixed with the letters www which simply stands for world wide web. The name itself is put in as one word with no spaces between the letters. The final suffix is the domain type. The .com is used for commercial and considered a top level domain. There are many other domain types such as .co.uk and .org. All in lower case and preceded by a dot.
When conducting a search your web browser looks for these combinations in order to find your web pages.
Not surprisingly, depending on the type domain name you use there will be a cost. The cost is incurred when you buy, and register your use of that specific domain name. This is not a one off payment and will need to be repaid either on an annual or two year basis. Depending on the domain name suffix.
I run several sites and retain several more domain names in reserve for future projects. As such the expenditure for maintaining our names is quite high.
These were some of the considerations and choices looked at and took when setting up our series of websites. Each one of which was approached in this manner.
Website development: When looking at this the focus is on changing website use to incorporate new applications after the website has been created. Once again depending on what your original goals were for your website.
I have certainly done this moving from information based applications only to include e-commerce applications. Educational and blog based activities plus downloadable e content.
Whilst the web page developments to accomplish these tasks was a relatively simple matter to accomplish. It has also meant a massive amount of extra work and expenditure to include external providers who hold and control the point of sale and download process.
As the limitations of my original site model do not allow for this type
of interaction to take place directly on my site pages.
That is why it is of extreme importance you define what your site is going to do and how that usage may change moving forward.
That concludes part one of this article. Hope it provokes some thoughts.
Part two will be looking further into this subject and how I work around it
In this article we are taking look at some of the basic factors which help in the making of an e-commerce site. These are some of the things we have dealt with in building our business. Which hopefully will offer insight in the course of your journey.
Business plan: Before the process of building a website begins, there must be some kind of plan in place for the business you wish to promote. This means knowing what it is you intend to do, how you intend to do it and what you expect to gain from doing it.
That plan also has to be flexible to take on unexpected changes.
Where to put the website: There are numerous choices of hosting
platforms across the web.
The focus for these platforms may be tailored to suit specific business types. Retail sites being a prime example. Many platforms offer a wide array of tools and resources aimed at helping the user to both set up and run their business. Before you decide to commit to a new e-commerce platform. Research the options thoroughly to find what works best for your business vision.
Costs: Like it or not, money always plays a part. Any e-commerce start up needs to be funded.
When choosing a hosting platform, make sure you thoroughly understand the costs that will be charged for your use of the platform and it’s resources.
If possible always work from a position of security, try to ensure you have a source of income outside of the business. This will provide you with a living and fund the business until it starts to make money.
Now that you understand what it is you are going to do, where your going to place it and the costs involved in setting it up. It’s time to look at Identity.
Branding: This is the business buzz word used to define your business identity, be it an online business or one with a solid bricks and mortar foundation. It is what makes you unique and stand out from the competition.
Lets look at an example, lets say you are an electrical retail outlet. With a desire to expand into new areas of opportunity. Attract new business from outside of your geographical location.
The internet now enables this to happen. As a new venture the focus is to create a profile which shows what the business is and what it offers to customers. This is will be it’s brand.
The profile will be used across the new website, and can be as simple as a company logo, or a more intricate design with unique fonts, colour schemes and other corporate identifiers.
Once the design has been created the next step is in creating the website itself.
As part of that identity the business name will be it’s biggest identifying factor. So choosing a website title to reflect that will be the most important decision to get right. Returning to the electrical retail outlet example. Let’s say it is called Alan Carter Electricals.
This may reflect well in a retail setting but is not very distinctive as a website title. Looking at the initials we see the word Ace. Now ACE offers an interesting series of possibilities that could be used to specify a unique identifier. However even this in it’s own right may be to ambiguous. As ACE is a widely used id which is associated in many ways with other things across the world.
So we expand that by adding the word retail making the title ACER, it can also be changed around to the word ACRE or Alan Carter Retail Electricals. This is one way to create a set of mnemonics to reflect the business id. Using the ACR electricals also offers a descriptive of what the business is about Electrical supplies. This works very well for this example as the resulting domain name will look like this ACR Electrical.
Domain types, without going into to much detail, always try to get a.com abbreviation for your domain name. This simply because it is the top most searched for and utilised domain name registration format. The resulting domain name for this business will look something like this acrelectrical.com.
Using this example it can be seen how an existing title can be used to create a unique online profile identifier.
Website creation: There are really only two options available here.
That is to design it yourself or hire someone to do it for you. Depending on the hosting platform chosen. The options available will vary widely.
For our sites we do all the design works ourselves, and implement those changes through the tools our hosting platform provides. We do this simply because it is cheaper and allows us the ability to make changes as required.
Employing someone to do the work may add an additional costing to the business, but takes some of the pressure off when it comes to creating the website.
The final thing needed once we have the website is creating awareness.
If you already have an existing customer base the process is made easier. However if you are starting on a new enterprise from scratch the following methods will still work. But results may take longer to obtain.
Using social media to generate awareness is the single most effective way to connect with your audience. It offers prospective customers reasons to connect with your business across networks. Used as part of the overall shopping experience. It is simply the most direct way to generate new customers, to keep customers coming back and to retain customer awareness.
There are many ways to integrate social media with an e-commerce site: We’ll look at some below.
Site content: Now having great content is what attracts visitors to your site. When people like something, they refer it to others and it generates interest. Which in turn attracts further visitors. When content becomes popular it gets comments and links from across the net. As those links increase, the content receives a higher authority rating in the Google search engine results. This spills out to other sections of the site. When content lacks links, irrespective of how good that content may be, it lacks those authority signals that Google requires to rank pages in search results. So, to improve your search engine optimization efforts, create compelling content that consumers will link to.
As an aid to improve these follow ups, encourage your site users to respond to the experience they have had when interacting with your business. Whether that is the product purchased, the service they have received, or simply liking some of the site content. This generates user involvement, which offers a gauge to new users on how others value both the site, and the services if offers.
In so doing you open yourself up to a wealth of information which can be used to improve and streamline the business model.
Always follow up on a customer review with an appropriate response, this shows the customer that their input has been valued. If the review is positive, thank the customer for leaving it.
If the review is negative, respond in a positive manner and and address the issue directly. Encourage further communication. But keep this private.
In this way the customer feels their input is valued, and will return again.
Email Lists: Sending out emails to potential customers is another very good way to generate interest. However recent changes in internet privacy issues, has made the keeping of email lists the subject of legal requirements across certain areas of the globe. Always be aware of these regional restrictions when setting up your email lists.
When using emails there are certain points to remember.
Keeping your emails relevant to the business and your customer base.
Keeping content fresh and interesting.
To this end, progressive mailers consistently change email artwork, layout, and basic design. These small tweaks in layout and communication style, can improve uptake rates and make a sizeable revenue difference.
Advertising, there are basically two methods:
Free advertising: This relies on a thing called Search Engine Optimisation. It works by using the opinions of others to create awareness and confidence in your website. Using methods described above you simply generate traffic based on the quality of your content and service based on the experience of those who have used it. There are SEO tools and companies that offer methods of improving your ratings by using things such as key words, back linking etc to speed up the ranking process. We do all our own SEO and have found that any improvement to our rankings filter through about a month after the changes have been made.
Paid advertising is simply that, you pay for an advert to get people to visit your site.
There are many methods for doing this online, and we have covered those in a previous article link below.
We wish you well in your e-commerce career and many thanks for your time in reading this article.
Please leave a comment, and like or share, all feedback is valued

In this article we take a brief look at chatbots.
With a view to establishing what they actually are, how they work, what they are used for and the pros and cons involved in their use.
What is a chatbot: It is essentially a piece of code placed on a webpage.
Which opens up a dialogue with visitors to that page. This dialogue normally takes the form of a chat window which opens up either when the page opens, or after a certain amount of time.
The contents of these chat boxes can vary.
The most we’ve seen is a prompt asking if the visitor needs any help.
They are designed to create an interaction with the visitor.
The depth of any interaction will depend on what the bot has been
programmed to deal with.
There are basically two types of chatbots, each of which have differing levels on complexity in what they are able to do.
The simplest one is called a Fixed Chatbot: These are programs which
are designed to deal with specific enquiires.
They are programmed to offer a limited service based on a
series of fixed information parameters. Primarily used for Customer Service applications, or to provide answers to frequently asked questions.
They are cheap to operate and fairly simple to set up and monitor.
However, due to the restricted nature of their programming base.
They can fail to deliver answers.
Which can lead to the loss of clients.
At the other end of the scale are the bots based on Artificial Intelligence (AI)
These bots learn dynamically, and are constantly being updated through interactions with customers. This helps them hold conversations in a better manner. They are intelligent, with an advanced design and offer a very positive user experience.
With a greater ability to learn from that experience.
These bots have become the preferred option of the two.
They are extremely complex to both set up and to operate. If not set up properly they can also fail to deliver answers.
These bots can only be programmed with a limited amount of information. This drawback is the main reason why it becomes very easy for them get confused while interacting with customers. The moment the customer requests information on something it is not programmed with. it fails.
However newer bots are being developed which use NLP or
Natural Language Patterns in a bid to improve their efficiency.
Customer service benefits
One advantage of using bots is that they can provide customer service on your website 24 hours a day. When online customers have questions,
all they have to do is ask the bot on your website.
With a quick accurate response to enquiries. This can lead to
increased customer satisfaction. When they get satisfactory answers and a quick service. Customers tend to return and buy again.
They are an ideal way to reduce costs, which obviously
translates in to greater profits.
Chatbots can manage multiple queries simultaneously. This is one of the main advantages of using them. The theory is that no customer is left unattended and you are solving different problems at the same time. They can process customer queries very quickly, are very precise in providing the clients with the information that they need. Which makes the communication process faster, leading to an increase in sales.
They can also reduce long term costs, however the cost of implementation can be very high in the initialisation stages, further criticisms include the limited response to queries due to programming and data restrictions. Which can lead to customer dissatisfaction.
As previously stated the set up costs can be high, however the costs required to maintain them can be higher still. AI bots require extensive hours of work and testing to ensure they run correctly. The costings involved in this process may nullify the cost benefits of installing a bot in the first place. Due to the complex nature of operation. Some businesses may find them to be totally impractical.
We have tested bots on some of our product pages. We also used cloned versions of those same product pages without the bots installed.
The bots used were simple and programmed to answer two basic questions.
They were left in situ for a month. All pages were linked up within our site model to receive roughly similar amounts of traffic.
The results we got were as follows, the pages without the bots received
a greater follow through. We tested the bots and found less than
satisfying results. There were also issues of performance,
which could have been down to our installation.
To conclude, they didn’t not work for our business model,
what worked better for us?
The simple expedient of an FAQ page on each of our websites.
Hope this article proves to be helpful.

What is it?. Put simply it’s a method of generating awareness for your brand.
It’s not a case of spamming your message to all and sundry.
It’s the selective application and utilization of resources which
can be used to deliver your message to a much wider audience
than you may command.
The basic form is a link to your website, which is hosted on another website.
The term influencer is a major buzzword these days. These are individuals or groups who have substantial followings on social media, a large customer base or web presence.
The aim is to find these people, groups or organizations. Partake of the group activities, by making viable contributions .and becoming recognized
as a valuable group member.
The aim being to leverage their size to your advantage,
by getting them to set up links to your site or pages.
The only issue here, is the amount of time spent searching out these people, then creating a credible profile whereby they feel your a worthwhile cause to be associated with.
As an entrepreneur and creative individual this was not really an option for me. Time is limited and spent primarily in product design, development and publication. Plus of course daily life, therefore the objective is to keep everything simple, and more importantly cost effective.
RMDCommerce: grew out of two separate sites,
one based around the sale of self published music.
The second site was developed initially as a vehicle to promote
positive living issues and products.
Both sites are heavily integrated promoting offers and cross referencing
material from each other.
This therefore, is the business model used as each new site was
developed and added to the stable.
There are currently six sites under the RMDCommerce banner, each of which offers products, services and in depth article features on specific subject matters. All are connected via product pages pictures links and banner adds.
The illustration below gives a visual representation of how the business model was conceived. The concept was simple. external traffic enters each site, while the internal links funnel traffic round the network to the other sites.
Via this method each site receives traffic from the others,
thus maximizing the potential of all.
The only use of social media has been the promoting of new and existing offers/content from across the sites via the RMDCommerce facebook and twitter pages. Links below
Using this method our traffic and sales volume have increased beyond initial expectations. Added to that we find ourselves being contacted with requests from other organizations to publish and link their content. To this end the our affiliate marketing site is currently getting a major overhaul in both design and the products being promoted.
This then is our model of link building, not quite the normal way.
Instead we are using the resources we have,
to support and nurture the new connections as we create them.

Automatation and AI in online marketing
What are they?
Automation: This is the ability to get something done automatically using some form of controlling mechanism. Whether mechanical or software related, the task is accomplished when a set of predetermined conditions are met.
In it’s basic form an internet link is a controlling mechanism.
You click on it and are immediately taken to the page.
The controlling mechanism delivers access to it’s data based on a
pre-defined series of conditions which have to be met.
Say for example the secure payment and download of an
There may be several steps involved, landing page linked to a
payment page which offers a variety of payment methods.
Credit card or paypal. After payment has been received an email
is sent with a download link.
Alternatively a download page may appear after the payment has been received.
All these are a process designed to control the delivery.
In order to get the product, you have to run through a series of steps.
This is the method all e-commerce transactions are based on
AI or Artificial Intelligence: Here the context is in a controlling system which has the ability to learn when and where to place the controlling mechanism
for the maximum exposure
AI software is used by web service providers and merchants,
to learn about us through our browsing habits.
It collates data to bring us offers/information based on our browsing history.
This data is collected through a variety of methods, and is based on.
The sites we visit,
What we watch,
What we buy.
How we do these things.
The places we visit most often etc.
Which essentially means, the advert, cookie or banner add giving the link details,
can be targeted to appear in front of the right people at the right time.
AI software can also act as a reminder mechanism with regard to previous
browsing experience. The aim being to keep us informed of new
offer/products and services.

In this article we take a brief look at email and subscription list building
Firstly, why build an email or subscription list in the first place, after all, these can be purchased from companies who harvest and sell their lists to interested parties..
The main answer is about targeting your audience. Email harvesting companies are primarily interested in selling their lists,, with little or no concerns about the usage of the list beyond the sale. What this simply means is, the list may not have the quality or scope to generate a positive return on your promotion.
However, building you own list is the most effective way of generating an audience. Why, because these are people, who have directly responded in some way to your promotions either as existing customers, or people who have requested to receive information from you. You have earned a certain level of credibility and trust. They are therefore more likely to view your content in a positive light rather than dismiss it as unwanted spam.
Methods of list building
There are many methods, most of which work in many scenarios.
There are literally thousands of surveys and statistics showing percentage
this for method A against method B..
For the benefit of this article we simply illustrate a few of them, and allow you to decide which may benefit your promotion
This works in a simple manner, an article or blog is posted.
Providing some basic content. on a specific subject matter
Further in depth information can be obtained as an added extra,,
either as a freebie or purchase.
This content could be in the form of a free report, an ebook etc
To access this additional content, an email capture mechanism on the
blog/article page will be used, to get the email address in order
to send the content.
This method can be used where a single piece of content is available.
This content is not reliant on a blog, and can be marketed in a variety of ways throughout a website. The advertising focuses on that content alone. Hence the term featured content, and can come in the form of banners, side bars etc. Once again all advertising will contain an email capture mechanism to forward the content.
This strategy is essentially another form of content promotion.
Here you host a giveaway, this could be anything which relates
either to a product or service
you are selling .The format of the giveaway can be anything, from an
ebook, podcast, a free subscription etc.
The giveaway itself, has to be both relevant,
and even better free.
Advertising for the giveaway can be hosted either via a
blog page or a specific website promotion.
Once again, an email capture mechanism is required before t
he content can be sent out.
This will depend very highly upon the target market, the product and the company goals.
However coverage and awareness is the prime purpose of advertising and promotion. Here we look not at advertising on social media, but simply getting people to share and like your promotion on social media. How you do this is simply to add social media button links to your promotion ads, and ask for people to click the button. At the same time, ask them to subscribe for further updates. Once again using an email capture mechanism on the form.
